30 days of rough watercolor sketches

Watercolor painting of a dark figure walking by a river at night.

A lot of beginner artists will take years to become good at watercolor painting because they only paint about once a week and they often paint careful pictures – that normally end up looking somewhat disappointing.

To speed up your development it is necessary to paint daily.

But it does not have to be a long 2 hour lesson. It can be just a 10, 20 or 30 minute lesson that can easily be fit into your schedule.

And rather than try to do highly finished paintings, we will rather paint quick crude sketches that will get you much more familiar with the medium in a shorter time.

It will also be a lot less stressful to paint crude sketches and you will also find it to be a lot fun.
